She's secured an art in residency with the Edmonton School District’s 1500 Catholic Schools, and created curriculum for colleges. And here’s what Barbara knows;

Teachers are leaders all day. They lead by example in the way they act, speak, and behave. They lead their students through challenging activities and rigorous learning. Then, they take on additional teacher leadership roles inside and outside the classroom.
This team building workshop is designed to help your team work together in ways you never thought possible! Fostering a creative environment to identify characteristics that lead to better teamwork. Together advance in problem solving and skills necessary to build confidence in team members through the ancient art of mask making to explore identity as a team member.
When we adequately prepare by having a conscious awareness of our limitations and constraints, we will be able to prepare for the future and become confident, creative problem solvers with a better knowledge of developing creative and innovative solutions. The process of art doesn't take place outside the box like we once thought but rather inside of it with constraints.

Corporate arts-based learning is an approach to learning, using the arts as a pathway to explore non-art topics such as leadership, change, and innovation in business.
Just as a compass requires all four directions, a strong team requires members from all four directions. You will relate to aspects of all directions, but choose the one that is most resonant for you. Notice how your leadership style relates to other directions. There are characteristics belonging to each directions, and the knowledge creates a deeper understanding of one another. We discover our strengths as a member in the team in this workshop.
