Acrylic: Basic Painting - Pkg A
The world of acrylic painting, an art world full of versatility and bright, bold colors. Because acrylics are water based, it offers opacity (meaning you can paint right over your mistakes) that makes this medium especially appealing to all levels of painter
Acrylic: Monochromatic Landscape Painting - Pkg AA
Barbara will teach the most difficult scene to paint; a night scent. Understand the importance of light and shadows in your art and easily apply them once you have learned its secrets.
Charcoal/Pencil/Ink: Drawing
You will learn how to create drawings with depth and dimension by understanding how light creates shadowing, values, blending techniques that create 3D effects. Guaranteed to make you feel like you're the new Michelangelo
Pastels
The pure pigments of pastels allow artists to layer rich colors to create luminous paintings. This class we will explore color compliments, as well as blending and a beautiful art piece.
Printing
Printing is also a stencil method of print making in which a design is imposed on a screen of polyester or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance. Ink is forced into the mesh openings by the fill blade or squeegee and by wetting the substrate, transferred onto the printing surface during the squeegee stroke.
Mask Making
The focus of this workshop is to design a plaster mask and to apply techniques that will ensure a smooth surface. After an introduction about the history and culture of masks, every participant will learn to create a plaster mask, from their faces. Introduction to artistic skills, materials - Design of a mask -Surface treatment, painting, hair, eyes, and special finish.
Acrylic: Basic Portraiture Painting
A basic introduction of the many different shapes found in a face. You will learn how to identify and use these shapes, learn the importance of color, brush strokes and layering in the formation of the face.
Watercolor Painting
Watercolor is a very fresh intriguing medium but can be challenging. As easy as watercolor painting might look it commands attention, focus and patience.
Sculpture With Plaster
Learn how to create large or miniature animals with plaster, crumpled newspaper, Styrofoam, and wire covered with plaster, paper mâché or home-made paper clay.
Acrylic Skin Mosaic
Learn how to create a unique and spectacular mosaic. With the use of gel Mediums pressed into wet acrylic paint. Artists will not only create one project each art class with “acrylic skins” but learn how to mix and compose their own designs for each acrylic skin.
Lino Cutting Art
The four part class is a block printing course for beginners and those who want a refresher on the fundamentals, that is called "How to Linocut." This introductory relief printing can be taught in our art studio or presented to you live and teaches you the basics of creating your own lino print at home.
Mixed Media
Mixed media describes artwork in which more than one medium or material has been employed. Assemblages, collages, and sculpture are three common examples of art using different media.

During the short strategy call you will know within the first five minutes whether or not the art package you chose is right for you. We create learning packages for you by you. It is our mission to create the best art experience for you!
Goal Settings
Art is more than just paint. We encourage all of our customers to think 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months ahead in the development of their artistic skill. We have a tracking system in place to see if we are hitting our goals.
